Car Information: The Cumbria Steam Gathering is a colourful and noisy weekend summer event with classic exhibits and displays, including a whole host of entertainment and vintage transport favourites as diverse as tractors, majestic steam engines, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, cars and cycles. A popular highlight are the arena displays. Two arena areas bring a constant parade of vintage treasures and brilliant shows along with fantastic commentary. For the more adventurous, there's the opportunity to drive a traction engine and have a ride in a helicopter.
Event Description: With 30 different classes of exhibit, the 40th Cumbria Steam Gathering is an opportunity for a wide variety of enthusiasts to enjoy a memorable weekend in the Lakes and be part of an event which attracts up to 40,000 visitors.
