Event Description: The Johnston 2010 will be based at Purdy Lodge just off the A1 at Adderstone. The route will consist of 12 Special Tests and a 20 mile Navigation section all on Map 75 within a 10 mile radius of the start. First car 100hrs, With the first back by 1500hrs, trophies presented and everyone on their way home before 1800hrs. On offer will be coffee and a bacon sandwich at signing on in Purdy Lodge, and after the rally all marshals are invited to join the Competitors at the finish in the Purdy Lodge for an early evening meal.

Event Name: Endurance Rally Association London to Capetown   Date: 01/01/2011   End Date: 27/01/2011
Event Description: We take in the vast emptiness of the Sahara, followed by the jungle trails of Cameroon, Gabon and The Congo, then drive the length of Angola, to emerge in the arid desert coast of northern Namibia. Not without reason do they call this the Skeleton Coast, and then we storm the Cederberg Mountains as a sting in the tail before a prize-giving celebration for the survivors in Cape Town. The roads are on the Michelin maps but this can be deceptive.... it won't be easy. Overland motorcylists ride this route and it's even been tackled by bicycle, all the way. Now we plan to turn it into a rally-route, with the discipline of the clock ticking every day.
