Car Information: Looking for Classics up to 1982, or cars that were produced then and ran on. Starting early on the morning of 5th July 2017, at Dobbies Garden Centre at Stirling, the group will drive up to Skye to catch the ferry from Uig to Tarbert on Harris. The hotels get booked up around a year in advance on the Islands. Alan is currently in talks about getting a good deal from the 3 main hotels in Stornoway The tour will include different routes for each day, each one breathtaking, some single track roads with hairpin bends over the mountains. If there is a very wet day Alan can change a route for that day and visit indoor places of interest instead. Alan will also be looking to arrange something in the week with the Western Isles Classic Car Club. They have some nice classics up there. A 2nd week will be optional , if anybody wants to stay on and revisit some of the beautiful places again. Alan will be staying for the two weeks. Anyone interested in this Adventure, would they get back to Alan ASAP, so he can set the ball rolling.
