The fun kicks off with a road run (which 300 cars can participate in) to St. Mary's Loch, with the first cars leaving the town centre at midday in 15 minute intervals in groups of 60. There will be a picnic stop at the Loch and the route will also take in Megget and Talla reservoirs. Motor bikes are a welcome part of the Moffat Classic Car Rally.

Started in 1998, by the Scottish Rootes Enthusiasts, the Moffat car rally has grown to become the biggest classic car event in Scotland. The Rally continues to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Releif and Cancer Research. Many of our families, friends and fellow classic car enthusiasts are touched in one way or another by cancer and this helps our major fundraising efforts for this great event.
