Event Name: VSCC Goodwood Autumn Sprint   Date: 25/10/2008 End Date: 25/10/2008
Event Description: Approximately 100 pre-war cars (and some post war racing cars) will line up to tackle the mighty Goodwood circuit in a Sprint environment. Cars are lined up on the start line in appropriate batches and flagged away under handicap. Action takes place all day with practise in the morning and timed runs in the afternoon.

Event Description: In 1976 The Times journalist threw down the gauntlet to Fleet Street and readers to bring back the first bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau to his London desk. The challenge caught the imaginations of car and wine enthusiasts alike. The object then was speed. The event has evolved and it is now a distance trial, for safety, but also to avoid reputational risk for sponsors. All driver and navigator teams will complete a series of four cryptic checkpoints in an attempt to acheive the shortest possible distance on their route to Macon via a famous Champagne house in Reims .
