This web site is run by a small group of classic motor enthusiasts who love driving their classics to classic motor shows in the UK. Most classic show organisers have their own web site, but there wasn't a web portal that brought all shows, rallys, tours, and motor events together with a searcheable index, and links to the organiser or club sites. Classic Shows UK hope that in creating this site, there will be the following benefits:-

1. No more missed shows - Classic Show enthusiasts know about many more shows to go to and support.
2. Organisers can avoid clashes on dates- its so frustrating when two great shows are on the same date in the same area!
3. Classic motor enthusiasts can find information about the clubs behind the shows - and join if they wish!

1. Will it always be Free?
   Yes - we will always list your classic show, veteran or vintage event, or classic motor show on our classic car calendar absolutely free!
   
   
2. How can we help?
   Well it does help if you use the online form on the site to submit events as this makes them easier to load into the classic car calendar.
   
   
3. What information do we want?
   The site has basically two types of information - about your organisation, and about your event:-
   
   - For organisation, we are constantly amazed at the dedication of small numbers of enthusiasts whose creativity hard work and determination produces a classic show. Please tell us about yourselves - you do have a great story to tell!
   
   - For the Classic event itself, please don't make the assumption that everyone knows what your event is all about - describe it as if the visitor was coming to your show for the first time, and say what is special about your show.
   
   - Tell us how does an enthusiast wanting to go to your event contacts you? By e-mail, phone, downloadable form on the web site, or if all else fails by snail mail?
   
   
4. What about Photos?
   Yes please - we welcome one photo to go on your show listing, which will sell your event as effectively as your words. Please submit these by e-mail. We also have a picture gallery of events - please feel free to submit photos for display.
   
   
5. Web links?
   We will always put a link to your web site so that the enthusiast can visit you. Could you please in return put a link from your club site to us at: http://www.classicshowsuk.co.uk
   
   
6. Countries?
   Do you have any plans to expand? Yes - we hope to add major shows in France, Germany and Italy for next year - for example, we will be attending the Le Mans Classique in 2008. Please submit your shows - preferably, we are afraid, in English!
