The March Summer Festival is pleased to invite Classic Car owners to share their beautiful vehicles with us on the Sunday of the Summer Festival. If you would like to bring your car please enter the site between 10.00 and 11.00 am. The Festival starts at 11.00 and we obviously would rather not have car movements on the site while it is busy with members of the public. The entrance to use is the one off Oxbow Crescent as this gives the easiest access to the part of the park where the vehicles will be on display. Oxbow Crescent can be accessed from Gaul Road. Once you are on site you will need to be escorted by a steward, even before and after the festival hours because as a public park there will still be people, including children making use of the space.Entrance to the park for Classic Cars shown by the Green Circle. The March Summer Festival is about being part of the community it takes place in. It’s a chance for people to gather, enjoy themselves, and spend time together in a shared local space. Alongside the performances, local businesses and traders are part of the weekend, adding to the atmosphere and giving everyone a chance to support the area they live in. It’s all part of keeping the festival rooted in its surroundings. By keeping the festival free, anyone can drop in, stay as long as they like, and make the weekend their own - whether that’s listening to a band, meeting friends, or simply enjoying a summer afternoon in March.

Organiser Information

March Summer Festival is a major community event which has been running alongside the March Lions Club Gala, in its present format since the year 2000. Originally the Festival also formed part of the Fenland Colourscape Music Festival. Now, an open-air stage is set up in West End Park for a weekend and the programme encompasses music and activities to appeal to all ages and tastes. The aim is to bring the community together to celebrate and enjoy local musical and other talent.
