Enfield Pageant of Motoring

  • Event Description: This family event, returning for the 47th year, is organised by volunteers of the Enfield and District Veteran Vehicle Trust as the primary fundraiser for Whitewebbs Museum of Transport, Enfield. We intend to primarily use proceeds from this event to construct a canopy roof over our railway carriage and adjacent open working area. Arena events on both days including motorcycle stunt performances and car club parades, plus some new additions. 100s of classic cars, bikes and commercials, military vehicles, modified cars and hot rods. Car Club displays, large autojumble, trade stands, fairground rides -(additional costs), food stalls and bar. Vintage Bentley engine static running demonstrations, plus Rolls Royce Merlin runs too. Classic Bentley display. Exciting action from Brentwood Radio Controlled car Club, back by popular demand. Craft stalls. Dog Show on Sunday by CheWs Dog Training (additional fees apply) Live music with Shades of Midnight and vintage singer Lissie Allsopp plus DJ Big Paul and - dancing! FREE PARKING. Public gate entry - Adults £14, children aged 5-12 £5, under 5s FREE. Family ticket 2 adults and 2 children £33. Prices per day. Gates open 8am, show starts at 9am. Pickering Traction Engine Rally

Amberley James Bond weekend

  • Event Description: Parts of A View to a Kill were filmed at Amberley, in particular the entrance to Main Strike Mine, and some of our engines and rolling stock were featured in the film. These will again be in action to re-enact this scene from the film and there will be James Bond music, films (including A View to a Kill and also period documentaries about the filming at the Museum), new exhibition boards about our James Bond connections near the tunnel entrance, and for our younger visitors there will be a brand new code-breaking trail around the site.

East Anglian Railway Colchester Essex

  • Event Description: One of our busiest and much loved events returns for 2026! After feedback from customers and exhibitors we are changing the event back to one day on the May Bank Holiday Monday. We also have new team of Volunteers starting from scratch at running this event, we will try our best! so please show your support and come along and get up close and personal to up to 200 classic and Vintage vehicles, cars, buses, commercial, and agricultural vehicles. There will also be a number of friendly car clubs in attendance. Free bus rides on two vintage busses will be available between 11:00 and 1500 where you can relax and enjoy the sights of the local country side. This is a round trip which lasts about 30 minutes. And of course we will also be running steam and diesel trains where you can have unlimited rides all day long! Your admission also includes full access to the museum and it’s exhibits, including access to our restoration shed. The miniature railway will be open with unlimited rides and our friends from the Braintree and Halstead Model Railway Club will have their club rooms open, with a nice range of model railway layouts on display. Hot and cold food and drinks will be available from Platform Two Café (run by Stour Valley Catering) and our very own micro pub will be open selling a nice range of beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks.

Rolleston nr Burton Transport Festival

  • Event Description: Rolleston, first documented in King Edmund's Charter of A.D. 942 (further details about the place name can be found here), remained one of a number of small agricultural communities along the Dove Valley for over a thousand years and continued as such until recent times despite the coming of the railway to the village in 1894. Apart from small-scale cottage industries such as brickmaking, basket-weaving, malting and smithing, there has never been any real industrial development in the village.
