About HERO Challenge Two
****No confirmed 2024 dates yet***Round Two of the keenly contested 2022 HERO Challenge Championship takes crews to a fresh new location for Championship contenders – the Yorkshire Wolds, home of 2020 Hero Challenge Championship winning driver Darren Everitt. A new base near Beverley allows the HERO Competitions Team to make best use of an extensive network of quiet rural roads. This compact event never travels farther than 18 miles from the start/finish venue, and passes through only a handful of villages throughout the day. Bishop Burton College provides us with a perfect new headquarters for our Yorkshire Wolds adventure, and is just 10 miles from the M62 motorway. You will be entertained with five special tests in the Campus, and they will host our lunchtime and post-event buffets.
We are planning to visit an iconic aircraft museum for our morning coffee halt, and take you to a historic Yorkshire WW2 airfield for three exciting tests which will give drivers the opportunity to ‘stretch the legs’ of their cars. Navigators will be kept busy during the eight planned regularities, traversing the unique Wolds landscape using straightforward Tulip diagrams, descriptive instructions and a simple map challenge.
