About Plains rally Wales
The organisers of the 2026 Plains Rally wish to advise competitors, volunteers, and supporters of a revised event date. The rally will now take place on 13th June 2026, moving from the originally planned 16th May date. This change has been made due to the team being unable to secure a suitable service area for the May date. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and flexibility, and we’re pleased to confirm that the event will continue to be based in Bala as planned. Knutsford and District Motor Club, based at Knutsford in Cheshire, was founded nearly 50 years ago. Competitive events run by the Club include autotests, navigational scatter events, production car trials and road and stage rallies - including the Tour of Cheshire daytime historic road rally.
