The event is open to the following:
a) Cars manufactured before 1980.
b) Sporting cars of any age.
d) Other cars permitted at the discretion of the organisers.
Cars constructed before 1980 will be given preference for entry.
The event is also raising funds for CHAS, Children's Hospice Association Scotland. Pre-event document inspection and signing on will take place from 8.30am at the Lomond Shores complex. The event will start at 10.00am and you will be given your start time in the final instructions.
The 2017 Argyll Classic will start at the Lomond Shores complex, on the side of Loch Lomond, and finish in the Loch Lomond area. The route over the roads of Argyll will visit the Rest and be Thankful, covering approximately 130 miles of interesting and scenic roads.
Based in Dundee, the club runs rallies and tours for historic and sporting cars of all types. The club is also a member of NESCRO, the North of England and Scotland Classic Rally Organisation You don't need to have a Classic or historic car to join the club. There is plenty of drivers looking for navigators, and marshals are always in demand.
