Times: 10am - 5pm
Car type all vintage, classic and post classics. This meeting is in support of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs Drive It Day. The Federation encourages owners of all historic vehicles to take to the road on this date and drive, or ride it. The turn out is always excellent and the message is loud and clear; there is a terrific interest in classic and older vehicles. Route is some 80 miles with instructions using both simple 'tulip diagrams' and written instructions. All entrants receive a Route Information book giving interesting facts on places along the route.
This year we start from the Cafe Lazio with a bacon burry and coffee to make our way south east skirting Blackburn, Darwen and Rochdale to make our way to Last of the Summer Wine Country around Holmfirth before returning to Blackburn Northern Sports Club for a light buffet. As always the event is open to Vintage, Classic and Cherished cars of all ages. A simple Tulip Road book is provided with full written directions.
