All makes of vehicles from 1914 to present day, cars/motorcycles/commercials/electric vehicles etc. If your car is post 1980, it must be entered as part of a car club. Access is from 9.30am via Metropole Road East - which runs from Sandgate Road between The Grand and The Metropole, both vast buildings standing on The Leas overlooking the sea. In 2019, We had rather more cars entered this year than hitherto, and at 3pm, the Grands manager counted 432 vehicles on site. You will see from the prizewinners list that there were a number of exceptional cars present; a non prizewinner was an early 60s Mini Estate that undoubtedly looked better than the day it left the factory, and another of late 90s vintage with little mileage which looked exactly as it left the factory.10.00 - 12.00 noon: Judging:- 2.30pm: Commentary on selected cars - Commentary and the Prizegiving is from the Grands Palm Court steps at 3.30pm: 4.00pm - onwards: Disperse. The Grand is situated within two miles of the M20 motorway, the Channel Tunnel terminal, the High Speed rail link, Folkestone harbour, and is only 45 minutes from the M25 London orbital motorway. Entry fee £5 payable on the event or an entry for form can be sent to your home address.

Last year, our marshalling, assisted by the Folkestone Rotary Club, worked better than ever , and because of the turnout, extended to an extra eight lanes on The Leas in front of the Hotel.
