The Preston Hall vehicle rally has been running for 25+ years and has now grown into a popular and very successful annual event. Regularly attracting some 300 exhibitors - with around 400 items on display a the exhibits cover the history of fire-fighting from its earliest times to the most modern of appliances, and motoring in general terms from the 30s to the present day.

From 12pm onwards a central food marquee including hog roasts, paella dishes, barbeque favourites, strawberries and cream will feed the pupils ready for the sporting events of the afternoon. Show Jumping will turn Birley’s into Olympia with over 20 horses and competitors daring to win the rosettes. Boys and Girls cricket will remind you of Lords, touch rugby will reflect Twickenham, and OKS tennis will get you excited for Wimbledon. In addition there will be a Classic Car Rally to which all owners of classic cars are warmly invited to park their car in the special paddock where the best in show will receive a bottle of champagne. Now in its third year Classics at the Clubhouse (or CATCH for short) has firmly established its self as a go to event. The unique venue and relaxed atmosphere all add up to an enjoyable day out for all. A mix of specially selected shops, food vendors, games and experiences make up the market place. From eclectic candy to classic car experiences the market place has something for everyone. Throughout the day you can sample the music of hand-picked acts, spanning from acoustic, country and pop to the unique sounds of the Tadley Rock Choir. This year CATCH will be raising money for Cancer Research UK, by donating 20% of all ticket sales and 100% of all money raised through club displays.
