You’ll be able to sit in a Messerschmitt, see Churchill, learn to dance the Lindy Hop or dance the night away with the Ashby Big Band. This is just a flavour of the wonderful events taking place over this family fun weekend. The whole town centre will become the venue for a host of 1940’s events and displays from Spitfires to vintage vehicles, from home cooking to 1940’s dress and make up. Why not join in the fun and come dressed in 40’s style and help bring a real period feel to the town.
Event Description: ***No 2026 dates available***Cleveleys Classic Vehicle Show was held in the Town Centre and on the Promenade in Cleveleys, just outside Blackpool, Lancashire. The day was a great success with over 150 vehicles of all shapes and sizes attending. The Show and displays are all within or very close to the Town Centre with a wide variety of shops close by. There are many cafes and food outlets in the town
Event Description: *Sadly not being held in 2026***We were formed in 1972 and have held the Borders’ prime classic car show almost every year since. Following the inevitable interruption due to the pandemic, we came back in 2022 with the Sir Jackie Stewart Classic, a massive two day event at Thirlestane Castle near Lauder. This year the show will return to Thirlestane in the more traditional BVAC Classic format .

The show now attracts over 1200 vehicles and hosts a large number of auto-jumble, craft and charity stalls as well as dog show, young children's fair rides, a chance for 11yrs+ to drive a car plus music, food and bar as well as a chance to show off your car in the arena. There will also be coaches to and from the Vauxhall Heritage Centre so you can visit their amazing collection. Our entrants have described it as one of the most relaxing shows they have been to. This is a FREE event and is one not to be missed. This year we will be commemorating the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. To honour this occasion, we would like to invite military vehicle owners to join us for this event. We put the cars in the 6 different areas around the grounds. Our Rally takes place in the Green Flag awarded Priory Gardens behind Priory House Heritage Centre. Parts of the Gardens are registered as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Adjacent to the Gardens is the Priory Church of St Peter which dates back to the 1100s.

Event Description: Formerly the Towneley Classic Car Show, the Burnley Classic Vehicle Show is hosted by The Rotary Club of Burnley in conjunction with Burnley Borough Council, it is now in it’s 35th year and is more popular then ever.
Held in the grounds of Towneley Hall it is a family friendly event with lots to see and do for everyone. There is a small funfair for the children, access to Towneley Hall and the grounds (which include walks, nature trails and even a pitch and putt course), plenty of stalls with information about local charities and attractions, plenty of lovely food with a bar and of course we can’t forget the classic vehicles themselves!
Best of all, the entire event is free (although there is opportunity to donate) and all money raised is distributed by the Rotary Club of Burnley to several charities.
