Beast Of Turin Brooklands

- Event Description: We are delighted that Duncan has agreed to bring the Beast back to Brooklands and to tell the story of this extraordinary 112 year old motor car. Only two Beasts were built, and Fiat sold the second Beast to a wealthy Russian Prince named Boris Soukhanov, who hired racing driver Pietro Bordino to drive it at Brooklands and attempt to break the land speed record. But when Bordino took it onto the track, it was so terrifying that he refused to go over 90 mph. After many changes of ownership, the Beast was acquired by Duncan Pittaway in 2003, and a lengthy restoration process began. Duncan discovered that the original engine from the first S76 had survived and managed to acquire it. After several years of hard work that saw the double chain-drive gearbox, body, and many other components being rebuilt using the original Fiat drawings, the Beast of Turin was brought back to life.

Pegasus Charity Classic Car Run Bristol

- Event Description: The Pegasus Charity Classic Car Run - An 80 mile Charity car run. It's a beautiful coastal route. Starting and finishing at Castle Combe. This years route will be Cotswold based at around 107 miles with suggested Coffee and Lunch brakes. There will be coffee and baps at the start, and tea and cakes at the finish. St Peter’s Hospice Just Giving page Arrive between 8.00am and 8.30am to have time to sign on, enjoy your bacon roll and attach your vehicle plaque to your car by 8.50am before departing from 9.00am. The finish is at the same place as the start. We anticipate it will take up to 4 hours driving to complete the tour. You must return to the finish by 3.30pm to enjoy your tea & cake. Please remember the event is NOT a race and no timing is permitted. All entry fees will be donated to St Peters Hospice.

Mini London to Brighton run
